post a value to another wml page

Hi!
i'm using perl and wml to create some dynamic wml pages.
I want to set the value of a perl variable to be the value of wml variable. Anybody knows how?
After that i want to post that wml variable to another page how i can do it...the only way i know i can achieve that is with the help of postfield, but this require also i think an input box like <input type...>
So i just want to post the wml variable value without the use of an input box..
