Working Kannel with .net

I am new to this forum and also new to the kannel. I have project for SMS Push / Pull. So my idea is to setup kannel on Linux and then connect it on network from Windows with SMPP or with any API or any other method to connect it and then develop application on .net with my logic.

So my question is that above thing is possible ?? If yes can somebody throw lights on it and can I have some tutorial or some documents for it.
