AGP card slot help

I want to know if my computer is capable of putting in a video card in the AGP slot if there is one. Heres what the specs say for the motherboard regarding AGP and extension.

Video Intel Extreme Graphics 2 controller
Universal 0.8 V / 1.5 V AGP 3.0 connector supporting 1X, 4X, and 8X AGP cards or an ADD card
Integrated retention mechanism

Expansion
Capabilities Three PCI bus add-in card connectors (SMBus routed to PCI bus connector 2)

Thanks =D

your motherboard has AGP 3.0 this uses either 1.5v or 0.8v for AGP x8 cards.

Most modern graphic cards are either agp 4x or 8x.. the old standards like agp 1x used 3.3v...

ur AGP slot is normally brown in colour and runs parallel to your pci slots however, it is offset by a couple of inches.. the video cards are keyed so that you cannot fit an incompatible card in to the slot..

check the box of your video card and try and get one which is AGP x8.
