Asus A8V and single harddisk
for some reason my asus a8v cant detect my hard disk
it detects the secondary which is my cd-rom fine but it is blinded to my hdd. do any one know why? also i dont plan to use RAID just normal ide.  thanks in advance

is not the jumpers
i have installed windows xp and i can use the pc but after a while i get a error with a ringing sound and a blue screen and my BIOS wont detect the hard drive EDIT: found out the problem...your pose to plug your prim. hard disk in the RED connector not the one that's labled "IDE_PRI" Asus needs to varifiy that in the manual.
