ASUS P3B-F max speed

hello - this is curiosity mainly i have an ASUS P3B-F motherboard and its nice running a p3 450mhz at 515mhz (i had it at 616 but it stopped every now and then).
the question is: i have been offered a p3 800mhz processor and i dont know if it would work on the P3B-F motherboard. i heard from my friend who had the motherboard b4 me that 700mhz would be the max BUT after reading up about the motherboard here: http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=160 and it says "Support for speeds in excess of 700MHz" - which might include 800mhz - i just dont know! anybody care to make suggestions or say if they know anything about this?
thanks
krisb

The speed isn't the problem, the board supports the fsb and multiplier speeds you need. You'll probably need to use a "slocket" adapter though, because your board is slot 1, and the new cpu isn't. The board says it came with one, so you may be all set there.

May be late but by P3B-F = still running with a Underclocked (Locked) CPU @ 660(733) MHz. Everyting else is overclocked In this case my extra components have to be good to become a stable system (AGP, ISA, PCI....). Sry my bad English.
