ASUS P4P800S Question
Hi everybody,
I have an ASUS P4P00S board, have connected 2 floppy drives on the Floppy channel, it has a SATA HDD connected and a DVD-RW on the IDE1 and a ZIP drive on IDE 2. Everything works but I only have one floppy drive? Have tried a new cable and cannot see a bios setting. Both drives have power as I have tested them separately. Does anyone have any ideas please? Thanks, Simon |

I've a feeling the ZIP drive may be causing the problem - BIOS should be able to recognise 2 floppy drives if they are present. Try disconnecting everything other than the floppy drives - and see if they are both recognised then.

Thanks for the help.
It seems to be that the board only supports one drive! I suppose not many people are having floppies any more. Especially 2! Thanks, Simon. |
