Question Asus P4P800s Video

Will a 4X card work in a 8x slot,I have a Ausus P4P800S with a 8x slot needing a card that can run at 1.5 or 0.8 volts, I have a Ati 7500 4x card,and a geoforce2 MMX400 will they run in a 8x slot

They should, but its not always a sure thing. Try it out, it won't damage anything.

Slots: 1x AGP 8X/4X, 5x PCI, 1x Wi-Fi
the 8x is also 4x backwards compatible.

The Ati 7500 4x card,and a geoforce2 MMX400 did not seem to work the monitor just gave me a message that said
"No Signal" I guess the board just didnt like them.

You may need to remove the old video drivers before they work (ati and nVidia drivers don't play nice together).
Its also possible they just won't work. Theoretical compatibility doesn't always translate into actual results
As always, try updating the bios and check all your connections

I cant get it to even boot,it stops at turning on and giving the no -signal message-No post, no bios,no nothing,it must be that Asus board just doesnt like cards.

I thought you were changing cards, and had a working option to fall back on. Can you try an 8x agp card?
Also go through the normal troubleshooting routine, strip the computer down to its essentials and try swapping as many parts as possible. It could be the mobo is bad, if its new, return it if you can.

I am going to try an 8X card,that should do the trick,I hope.
