Asus p5n-e sli motherboard and checksum error
My pc decided not to play well anymore. First, I thought something was wrong with the hdd, so went and bought a new one. Then, it got stuck during windows xp install. After rebooting, it started to get stuck after it displays hardware information. I read about resetting cmos somewhere on the intrawebz by taking the little battery out. Waited for 20-30 secs, and put it back on. Now, it's giving me "checksum error"s. I know the battery is placed correctly, but not sure what else to check for. Any help?
ASUS P5N-E Sli motherboard with intel core 2 2.4Ghz cpu, and 4 1gig corsair ddr 800mhz ram. (nothing has changed in this config besides the new hdd)
thanks in advance.
