being really thick

does anybody out there know how get 2 160gb Seagate SATA hard drives working on a Gigabyte GA-8KNXP motherboard. Windows 98 SE, both hard drives appear in the BIOS but only one in the operating system. Also, can't more than 1gb RAM to work - any ideas? Many thanks.

Maybe you have the two hard drives in a RAID mirror configuration?
