boot problem

i have a strange problem that i have never seen before and have spent a lot of time trying to fix. i have a computer that when i turn it on, powers up, but nothing ever comes up on the monitor. basically the monitor stays in its standby setting. i have changed out every part and the only thing im thinking it can be is the mother board. i have changed out video cards, ram, cpu, hard drive, monitor, and tested them all and they work. i would just go out and buy a new motherboard but there is a glimpse of hope. from time to time the computer will get to the first screen (first screen being where it displays the ram, cpu, and auto detects the drives), and gives me the error:

cmos battery low
cmos memory size wrong

i have replaced the cmos battery though, but while i have gotten to that screen more than once, i have never gotten it with the new cmos battery. is there possibly something else i can try or do?

btw, the computer started giving me this problem after i left it in my closet for several months when i didn't need it (its my secondary computer). the motherboard is k7s5a.

(^^;?(It is still unclear that which mother board you are referring to, new or old? If it's new, you can have it changed. Nothing matters.)

cmos battery low <--(^^;(You replaced.)
cmos memory size wrong <--(^^;(Rom data half-gone, probably)

If the floppy is read, you may try to flash the bios. If not, you cannot but change the board.

Smile Bios?

I recently had a similar problem.
I had to find a BIOS Flash utility that would run from a floppy on boot.
NOTE: This will only work if your MB seems to be POSTing
