Boot up problem
I bought a new case and switch the stuff from my old case to the new one, i connected everything like how it was before to the new one. When i boot it up, The fans starts spinning but the cd rom.hard drive/ floopy doesnt work and its connected to the motherboard...but when i disconnect them from the motherboard and then they work again! Then when i connect it back to the motherboard just half of the ribbon but not red part, it works but when the red part of the ribbion is connected to the motherboard it doesnt work no more.
P4 2.4 Ghz 760 RAM 80GB ATI 9200 128MB

might be a bad HD, i had one just die, and it did allow the computer to boot, even though it was a slave.

well the hard drive works when it's NOT connected to the motherboard.
