Are you getting any splash screen at all when you hit the power button? What about fans and lights stuff, do they start going at all? Are you positive that the power supply is putting out juice? When you turn it on, do\did you smell anything nasty? (the smell of burned semiconductors is unique, you'll know it when you smell it) I'm thinking if a diode or something in the power supply decided to take a dump, it wouldn't want to give electricity to anything. Or maybe its just as simple as a connector isn't plugged all the way in or something.
