Disable beeps at startup?
I'm not sure where exactly I should post this.. (I have an ecs k7s5a mobo if it has anything to do with it) my PC beeps twice, once at the very begin, one just before going into windows XP loading screen (or whatever other OS I use). I find this rather annoying and would like to have this disabled.. is it possible? (It's not that there's any real issue with the pc causing the beeps (I think), it's been like that ever since I built the PC, like 2 years ago)

(^^;?(If there's no error, and it's normal.)
Just remove the PCspeaker. |

Hmmm... I don't really recommend taking the speaker out... unless you don't really care about your computer. The speaker is also used to tell you about important things like overheating... This has only happened to me once and it was because of a ****ty fan... But I guess you can if it pisses you off that much, but don't "rip" it out, just unplug it (I think you can do that). This is good because you can put it back immediately to troubleshoot booting errors. (Happened to me once when my cheap RAM f&%^ed up after I flashed my BIOS).

(^^;(Oh! No! I'm not reccomending this, too.)
What about changing into smaller one. |
