Files always being fail while extracting.
Alright i am new to this forum and it seems you guys know what your talking about so i would like to ask you a question. I have a ASUS A8N-E Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard and running a 64bit AMD 3200+ My memory went bad the other day and i had over 3 million errors on it and 3000 on the other one. I have OCZ Gold Series 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory. I got a kingston 512 3200 for now just to get me by. When i booted up i keep having errors when trying to install something. Such as when i install msn instant messenger i get Corrupt file error. another one it says Extracting file failed. it is most likely caused by low memory, low disk space or corrupted cabinet file. I know for a fact my memory is ok. I have check threw system as well as Tuneup utilities 2007. I am clueless about whats going on. The only thing it lets me download are certain things off disks and winzip. I reinstalled Windows with 2 different disks. I reformatted both disks. Then i traded out hardives. The memory is brand new. All i can think is it must be my mother bored or processor. I did registry fix already nothing changed, Any ideas?
