Front Panel USB
Hello,
This is problem I face: I have just bought a new case for my pc. The motherboard is in fine, the new PSU is working a treat and all the CD and hard drives are working perfectly. The only problem I face at the moment is the front panel 2xUSB I have on this case. My motherboard supports 2xUSB ports on the front, and they definately work because I had them in my previous case. However, when coming to connect them all again, I am faced with a dilema. In the motherboard manual (Asus A7V8X - X), it gives me a diagram showing the 10 pins in a 5x2 layout. They are labeled with USB+5v USB_P5- USB_P5+ GND USB+6V USB_P6 - USB_P6+ GND and NC. The connecters on my case are: 2xPort+ 2xPort- 2x- 2x+ Also note that the motherboard has 10 pins, the case only 8. If anyone can offer me any advice on which goes where it would be most appreciated!
