right..The other day i purchased a new motherboard and processor which were (Celeron 2.8GHz socket 775 processor and matching Asrock 775i65gv motherboard).
I set it all up fine connecting only what was necessary to get it up and running. I switch it on and it powers up OK but there is no picture/signal going to monitor from motherboard. I tried a graphics card but it didn't work either. Please help. Any help would be apreciated thanks. |

Does it beep when the computer powers up? Any hard-drive noises?
If so, might be the cable itself. Do you have another computer that you can put this cable into and see if it works on that one? -phrygius |

Hi darklight and welcome to Dev Shed.
If you have tried a different graphics card and still no output on screen, I'm thinking that the monitor you are using is faulty - have you tried this on another machine ??

It's working now, the problem was that i had to swap power units to one with a 12v 4 pin atx connector and there must have been something wrong with the cables or something (it was lying in the loft for ages) so i bought a new one and hey presto i got picture
thanx for the help ![]() |
