Hi All,
I need some help with the installion of a maxtor 120 Gb SATA drive on a Gigabite GA-7N400 Pro2 rev 1 Motherboard board. It has a silicon image SATA Bios. The main problem is that nomatter what I do i cant see the hard drive in any way in the bios. I tried to use the driver on the installation cd for the on board sata card but still no luck. I have put a search on the web for a resolution to this problem but have had no fix yet. This problem is now some 4 months old and gigabite themselves are impossible to get hold of. If any body has any tips or resolution for this problem on this board it would be gratefully recieved. Chris |

In the bios you will most likely not see it.. But in the bios make sure SATA is enabled. you will probly have to download drives for the HD for windows.
