i figured out that this cpu supports 100mhz bus speed and if it is 800mhz so the freq.ratio need to be under X8. I tried different cobmination changed the memory but nothing worked so far.

Well i don't know if you still have this but I have one of those running very well with 2X P-III 750MHz and like a gig of PC133 SDRAM. You are correct on the 8X setting. Its my work horse. I use it as a server with all my MP3's and back up my other computers on it as well. I have 2X40gig Maxtor HDD's in it also so there is pleanty of room for just about anything. In fact, I have a few photos of that very computer that I will try to upload here. I love the little thing. It was my first build from scratch as well and from a lot of things I have read on this board, it's not easy to get running with 1 cpu let alone 2.
Peace and good luck. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Considering Benny hasn't posted since this one, a good seven months ago, I seriously doubt he's around to learn the solution.

Way to necromance, livedead.

Actually, it is a valid derivitive of the word necromancer, one who revives the dead.

You are right, it isn't valid, yet... it will be in a few hours as I've just created Wikipedia and Urban Dictionary entries

I will anyway, and I have remedied the offending entry... I can't stand spelling errors and despise myself for not catching them before I post.

I can spell really well, unfortunately, my fingers can't

The old preview post button. How forgotten and ignored it is sometimes.
