IBM Thinkpad A22m Problems
I just replaced the motheboard in the laptop since (duh!) I forgot the passwords. I think I got everything back in the correct spots, just a few screws left over. When I power it up, no beeps, the lcd lightly flashes at I can hear the hard drive spinning. The only light on the keyboard is the power light. Any suggestions?

You replaced the motherboard because you forgot the password ? That was a bit extreme was it not !? Anyhoo - can you continue to hear the hard drive spinning and are the lights staying on ?

A22 problems
I was advised by IBM since the hard drive password can't be bypassed. Yes, I have lights and the drive spins, the LCD flashes once on start up.

Have you rechecked to see that everything is fitted correctly? Check that they are all ok, especially the CPU.
