Increasing Computer Boot Failures
Is it me or is there an alarming trend to the failure of computers not booting. I myself am suffering from the same issue, and of course I'm RMA'ing the items. The ultimate slap is I deploy for war within the next month, and probably will not be here and the items will sit for 6 months before I can install them.. (is that good for the parts?)
Can someone please tell me why motherboards appear to be becoming cheap pieces of garbage. |

Sitting is fine for the parts, though warranties will lapse on some of them. Do you have any friends that could put this together for you? Many people would be glad to help out a soldier
![]() As for parts failures: these things happen and will always happen. The percentage is pretty small, but when it does occur people ask in places like this, which makes it seem like there are more problems than there actually are. That said, getting a good brand, like Asus, Abit, MSI, etc can save headaches compared to the cheapo sale items.
