Cool Intel D875PBZ mobo w/ P4 3.2 ghz processor

Having problem powering up the board. The fans wont turn...No beeps...Nothing.
This was a working system.
Have had both board and processor checked at a shop. Processor (P4 3.2 Ghz) works fine. Have checked power supply (Thermaltake 480w)and powers up fine on known good systems. All connections are in the proper places. DDRAM is seated properly and in their correct places. Have pulled the battery out to try to reset the cmos.
Board does indicate that there is some power getting to it with a small green light that turns on when the power is applied and off when power is turned off. Is anyone familiar with such a light on a board? It is labled STR LED.
My thought is that this board is stuck in some sleep state but have not been able to confirm that from any of Intel's specs papers.
Any suggestions? Anything?

That would be very cool, as I have burned up more brain cells than this seems to be worth. Im sure it is going to end up being something so totally basic, and then wont we both feel like blondes. hehe! Appreciate any help anyone is offering.

Ill also return the favor if any info should happen to cross my path first.

Well i talked to intel support, they advised me to try and return both the mobo and proc...so i did...the store tested the proc for me and it ran fine so i just exchanged the mobo...now i dont have that problem anymore, but i have a new issue, which i will throw into a new post...

Also i just got a reply this morning from the email support and their answer was everything that goes into normal troubleshooting, like unplugging everything, checking the cables, blah blah blah...support these days is so useless...

Arrow Same thing, got answers

So far so good by now... well, last weekend a friend of mine decided to build a new power system for his house, and he decided to use the d875pbz as mobo. I had a "twin" d875pbz on my own, yet boxed.
Saturday night: while i was watching De la Hoya falling i was living my own bout.
My friend's mobo refused to start, (with a 3.2 prescott), mine started flawlessly... WHY???
Well by today he went again to the shop where he purchased that mobo and it was successfully tested with a Celeron processor.
After the "you have to read more books... " jokes, my dissapointment was huge.
Went to internet -> google > You people ... and 3 links below this one... http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=1535&page=3
Where they explain a little story about two twin motherboards (and one of those with a dark side)
Enjoy the reading.
Today I will be going to make the mobo exchange for the new version (rev 02)

Greetings
