Intel D915GAV boots continously

I just bought a new Intel D915GAV motherboard and installed the P4 processor, my IDE hd and DIMM. It reboots itself continously. I have no SATA drives. It detects my hd, my cd drive....no problems there. However, everytime I power it on, it comes back to a DOS screen asking me if I want to boot Windows normally, in safe mode, safe mode with network support or safe mode with command promt. No matter what choice I enter, the system reboots, bringing me back to the same screen asking me how I want to boot my Windows.

Has anyone had a similar issue? Please help.

Trish.

HELLO! I have the same problem with my ASUS A8V Deluxe motherboard.. I have not yet updated the BIOS to the latest version, so all I can think of is the BIOS not being the correct version.. I will post something when I update the BIOS and determine the outcome.. My board also says something about "FastTrack something.. Then it says BIOS is not installed" and then loads the screen to choose the operating system, after you choose it just reboots...
