Kindly help: My PC restart suddenly

Good Day all,

I got a new computer with the below spec:

Mainboard: GIGABYTE N650SLI-DS4L

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad - 2.4GHz - 8 MG L2 Cache - 1066 MHz FSB

Memory: 2x Kingstone 2GB PC2 - 800 Bus - 6400CL6 240 - Pin DIMM

VGA: 2x GeForce NX8600 GT 1GB - MSI - SLI enabled

HDD: 3x HDD - 1 500G - 1 250G - 1 200G
(Note) for the HDD the 250 and the 200 HDD are old ones that i had from before

PowerSupply: ATX 500W P4 well i don't have the box so that is all the info that i got for now

-----------

so first thing once i got my things i hooked up all the above staff and said hell yeah finally SLi experience

but my PC ruined my celebration as it start to restart on it's own

so due to the huge size of the VGA heat sink i thought maybe there is heat leaking between the two VGA so i removed one of them and kept one only

when i used the PC again the frequency of having restart dropped a little bit but that doesn't mean it's ends, the problem still exist and I'm really starting to get angry of this computer.

so kindly advise if you can help me.

thanks and regards

Sudden restarts could be caused by loose components, or heat.

Download "Speedfan", and make sure your computer is under 50*C when under load.

does it restart contentiously if you Mr. GixxerPC-Tim is correct that there must be some loose components

Check your ram is it plug in tightly because when my pc restarts its the ram or the hard disk hope this helps

After how many minutes does it restart?
Does it show any screen or error before restarting?

well this issue might be the cause of several components, might be the power supply, or the ram, or the hdd, or the motherboard.
i don't want to assume that it's the motherboard so why don't you start by the easy test, which is power supply or ram.
