MOBO grounding probs?
Hi
I need some help guys!! My new motherboard works when placed on cardboard. When I screw into the case raisers, it will not work at all - no BIOS message or anything. When I place card under it it works again. Any ideas what I can do? Thanks ![]() |

If there is a short between your mb and your case, you can encounter such symptoms. Try using washers on the screws you use to attach your mb to your case. You can get little plastic separaters as well if you don't already. Make sure there is no metal to metal contact between case and board and you should be fine. Hey, at least you know your system works!
