    Motherboard cd lost >.< need help


    hi all. ..
    im newbie here ..^^

    i need help with my computer. . .i got virus so i reinstall my windows ..
    but after i install it i cant find my motherboard chipset installation. .. .
    i search in google or yahoo but i only find bios update. . .

    what should i do ?

    my motherboard is Asus p5vd2-x v 0201 . .

    please help me . . . T_T

    Try actually checking on Asus' website.

    Enter your model in the top left search engine, hit the OS you have, and you'll have a list of downloads available for that board. You shouldn't need an additional driver for the G965 chipset. In fact, if you check on Intel's site for the 82G965, you're only going to find graphics accelerator drivers in case you're using integrated graphics.

    Download the respective controller (Audio, Raid, SATA, etc) drivers from Asus. You should be fine after that.
