Motherboard does not start up
Please help with brainstorming.
I configured and set up a ASUS PC-DL deluxe motherboard.
First time boot, I went into the bios to ajust my AGP setting for the videocard. Only change I wanted to make was my agp memory from 128 to 32mb (used my old crard)
While starting up first time I notices strange things: garbage on my screen for 1 second.
I was in the setup for the video card
when I noticed that my usb keyboard stopped working, I reboot by pressing the power switch.
Next startup: Message: No Bios found, Insert floppy disk.
I did not know how I got there so I reboot.
Next startup:
I get nothing, black screen, no beeps. To power down I have to hold the power key for 4 seconds.
I changed the video card but that did not help.
It seems like my bios is gone, is that possible?
How can I get it back. (I did try to cflear the bios with cl-rtc option with the jumpers). How can it go away?
Can anybody give me a hint?
Thanks a million.
