Motherboard Problem. No beep, No Post.. Pl help!

Hi,

I have been facing a problem on all my 3 Pentium III 1.13A Ghz with Intel 810e Chipset PCs. The problem is after power on, PC doesnt POST. CPU Fan Runs, Lights etc OK but No Display, No beep, No keyboard light and NO POST...

I tried removing everything i.e. all connections - No floppy,hard disk, cd rom, ram. Only kept Motherboard and CPU but still no luck..

Sometimes, it works. I am not sure but it is either by EXTREME COOLING / HEATING. Today, I heated the CPU for more than 45minutes but it did not work. I also tried removing the CMOS battery for 10minutes and reinstalling it but it also did not work. However, I didnt switch on the pc after I removed the battery till the time I put it back again.

I took off the RAM and No BEEPS.. I know there should be continous beeps to indicate a faulty RAM.. So, I know that either motherboard or CPU is creating problem... But then why does it work sometimes ?

Will RESET CMOS / BIOS Help ?

What is the method to reset CMOS/BIOS on Enerystar BIOS on an Intel 810e Chipset ?

Any guide to opening the CPU Fan on Intel 810e ? I tried a lot but couldn't open the fan..

What do you think the reason can be ?

You've tested it well, good. It sounds like you have a failed CPU though.
