Exclamation MS-6378 Memory problem

Ok I'm building a computer with MS-6378 Motherboard from MSI MainBoards. http://www.msi.com.tw

But for some reason Ive been having memory problems. My computer freezes a WHOLE lot it is hard to even get windows installed. Which windows sucks anyways but I need to use windows on it first before getting Gentoo Linux onto it.

The motherboard supports both PC100 & PC133. Im using PC100 right now cause thats all I have and plus the lack of money to buy any other ram. The motherboard has a Jumper right next to the RAM slots. It has 2 options 1-2 for PC133 and 2-3 for PC100. I have it set to PC100 *duh* cause im using PC100 RAM. I was just wondering if anyone might be able to help me.

The computer freezes like crazy. I've run a Memory scan and it shows errors. I've switched RAM sticks and it still shows the same errors.

I got a AMD Duron 1.1Ghz socket A(I think. It might be another socket)
I Just updated the BIOS.

Any suggestions would be good.

Well I had a problem with the boot up when I first installed my mudder board,It was supposed to be set for 133 but it wouldn't even post so I switched it to 100.Wah La! worked like a charm. Not always are the manuals set or written accurately and you got to do something. It won't hurt it.Either it will work or it won't.I occasionmally have a reboot problem but it is usally because of something I played with to confuse it..I run a Amd 1100 with 512 sdram
