Need help finding a Motherboard

I'm wanting to build a C2D E6600 using a motherboard that supports SLI and that can be upgraded to a Quad core cpu later. The 680I boards are the only ones that I've found so far and from what I'm reading in the reviews is that alot of people are having issues with them. Does anyone know of a better board with these features? Thanks for any and all help.

I was just looking at the 680 boards the now and some of them do have decent reviews but others don't, as you say. Although, some users are reporting that BIOS upgrades are fixing a lot of problems with them.

Expensive stuff, as are the quad-core cpus. Must be a beast of a rig that you are building.

It would be a mid-range PC to start with but as prices come down on the Quads you could simplely just upgrade the Cpu and you'd have a very high end PC. Hence the reason for me trying to find a motherboard that will be upgradeable to Quad core and that supports SLI. Thanks for the help.
