Hi,
I have an old HP desktop PC model: Vectra VL420 DT with Pentium 4 1.7 GHz processor. The motherboard model used is: Socket 478B. Now I want to upgrade my processor to a higher frequency one(to 2.4G or 3G) with the same motherboard. Can anyone suggest if it is possible to do that? If so, can my present motherboard supports an higher frequency processor? What other processor models can be used? thanks for your help, TZ |
