New PC kit needed
I want to replace the old PC in my garage (800MHz P3 500MB RAM) with a mother board so I can rebuild. There are so many motherboards out there it's confusing.
I need a unit whch will act as a server and backup running a Linux distro; 1+Gbyte RAM; =>2GHz Proc; Wake on Lan; room for graphics card but acceptable on board graphics. 2 Hdd 80Gbyte each. Must be an up to date BIOS. Do I build from kit or buy a unit? Where can I go to sus all this out. Are there any sites for this? |

Are you just looking for a motherboard ? What is your price range ? You looking at Intel or AMD CPU's ? You planning on replacing the CPU too ? If so, what is your budget for that ?
