No display, no post codes, unless....

I didn't make any changes to my computer and then suddenly I try to boot up and there is no display and no post codes. The power light on the mother board is on and the fans all start up. The monitor is working. I removed the two ram chips and I get three post codes.

Any ideas of what might be wrong and what my next diagnostic step should be?

Thanks.

What you should do is disconnect everything from the board besides video, memory, cpu and power and power switch. The bare essentials that you need to turn it on. If it doesn't power on properly like that then you need to check the jumper settings (if any are there), make sure the memory is in the right slots and seated correctly. Also change the slots the memory sits in.
