No monitor display at boot up, Gigabyte GA-8IR533 motherboard problem -how to fix?
My computer Spec is
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-8IR533 Display card:Geforce2 MX400 64MB Pentium 1.7GHz 256MB DDR Ram 80G Harddisk The monitor display: "no signal" when the computer is on. The monitor and its connection line is working (tested on the other computer) I also plug the display card in the other computer, which proves the display card is working. The battery on the motherboard is working as well. I also replug RAM, harddisk (IDE), CD-ROM, battery on the motherboard, the display card and keyboard. I turn on the power. The CPU fan is on. I can hear the beeping. But still no display on the monitor. My guess is the motherboard problem. As all the other components are working on other computers (tested). But I do not know how to fix the motherboard. Please help. The system has been running for nearly two years without problem. There is no upgrade. No monitor display is very sudden. The day before I was still using the computer. Next day no monitor display at boot up.

Is the beeping the normal start up beep or is it different?

mild thoughts
Have you looked at any fuses on the MB? Also is there an option of trying different monitor and then a different card on the computer in a process of elimination one thing at a time.
