no POST.
Ok, my computer was working yesterday. Now it does not.
Please help me to troubleshoot which part is the root of the error. I build my own computer and I had it for half a year. My motherboard is ASUS P4P800S Video card is ASUS V9400 Magic Ram is 256MB Using P4 2.4GHZ SATA HD one cdrom drive one dvd combo drive power supply is antec 380W Anyways, the computer turns on. The HD light would be constantly on The cdrom drive greek seek light is also constantly on The computer doesnt turn off, it just does what I told you above. It just basically runs the fan and cpu fan with those lights on Nothing on the monitor, it says no signal. Any heads or tails as to the problem? I tried debugging but stil dont know which exact part is the problem. |

Woah, that's crazy. Did you edit anything on the motherboard? Did you mess with the bios at all? You didn't possibly put a magnet in your computer, did you?
Also, make sure that your IDE cables are in the right way, but that can't affect the bios... It could be possible that you destroyed your bios. You didn't try to flash your bios did you?...That could be your problem, if you did. |

Same Problem Here
Only mine is not the same board (Its a ECS PM800-M2 Socket 478 Motherboard). I don't like this at all now I see someone with different HW and same exact symtoms. I had thought of the possibilty of a virus but was hoping maybe was a board problem now I'm just hoping I'm not right. Going to continue my search but this doesn't look promising.
