No Video on new computer.
I just purchased a ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard and a XFX 7900GS Extreme video card, I installed the video card and nothing else to the mother board, hooked up the power and no video, my moniter a 19" wide Hanns G, just says no video connected. Some times when I start up I get the Post alarms with one long and two short beeps, other times there are no beeps. I have tried the dvi cable strait to the monitor and I have also tried using a vga cable with the adapter. can anyone help me with this.

Hi Snobrder26 and welcome to Dev Shed.
Have you consulted the motherboard manual for what the beeps represent ? Ensure that all components are correctly seated. Does your mobo have on-board video ? If so, ensure that this is disabled in the BIOS.

Got it fixed
Thank you for the help, but i finally broke down and called the motherboard manufacturer, it turned out that one of the memory sticks was bad, i removed one and the computer started, and recognized the monitor. unfortunately i had to return all the memory being that it was a matched pair, and so im waiting on a replacement to be shipped out.
