Power LED problem

Hi,

when i connect the power led for the front panel with the motherboard (Asus P4P800-x) the LED is on even though the PC is shut down.

Does anyone know this problem ?
Perhaps any jumper settings or anything like that ?

do you have your computer unplugged when it does tis if so it should only stay on for about 4 seconds after you power down but when you leave it plugged in and ust go to shutdown the light will stay on signaling that it is getting power
