Talking Power supply and P4 3 Gigs

Hey i recently bought a 3 gig p4 ht processor...i havent yet installed it as m afraid since my psu is a 300 Watt unit which worked fine wid my 2.4 ht P4.....never encountered a fault...but now i don wanna take any more chances....so pls suggest a gud psu rating for my rig...

Depends on the other hardware you have. I'd say you want at least 350w, but if you're buying a new one, I'd get as big as you can afford of a good name brand (antec, enermax, thermaltake, etc). You can't have too much power.
