Rocklake won't boot, please help

Hi there, I have moved my system to a new case today, and everything remained exactly the same as in the old case. I have a intel d865 perl mobo running a p4 2.80 ghz.

Now the power led lights up, the lights on my mobo and network card light up, but nothing else happens, no fans, no HDD, no cd-rom. I've tested it with another PSU to no avail.

The only problem came when I removed the CPU from the old case. As i pulled the heatsink, the cpu came out with it, and was also basicly "cemented" to its bottom with some sort of fried dried-out silicon paste or something.

When I turn the power on my new system, no post, but board power light is on, network card lights, case fans turn on, graphics card fan on, processor fan on, but no video, stays on the initial screen declaring no video signal...switched cards, confirmed they are ok on other system....monitor is confirmed ok...just no beeps, not even on, and no BIOS info, nothing.....
