SK8n Ram Issues

Hello I recently just purchased parts to build a new comp. I have a 450 watt power source, sk8n board, fx-53 processor, geforce 6800 gt card, and 2 sticks of kingmax pc3200 ddr400 512 mb ram. I put all this in along with hd and dvd/cd drive. When I turned on the power i got a green light on the board, all the fans ran on everything, etc. But I got no display and 1 long, 2 short beeps. I was told this was a video card problem originally but have since tried an ATI Radeon 9700 pro that I know worked and a geforce 2 pci card to the same result. Could this perhaps be because I am not using registered ram that is listed on the list of compatible memory for the board? Would that give me the beeps and such I am experiencing?

If you are not using registered ram that is listed on the list, nobody could say it's all right.

You aren't the first to have this problem, might want to see how the new chipset works for the other guy here (in the "SK8N persistant video problems thread). Else, try some of the ram from the list, its there for a reason.
