Update BIOS but what motherboard is used in this gateway model...
Can someone tell me how to identify the type of motherboard that is in my Gateway GT5228 computer? My computer has been randomly beeping at me and someone said it could be the BIOS and I would like to figure out what update to run but I cannot figure out which motherboard is used in this model.
I have scoured Gateway's support are and itis oath Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thnk you, Jen

for OEM stuff you get the BIOS update from the OEM, so search gateway
and it looks like this is the BIOS, though i could be wrong, you should be able to click the "drivers & downloads" link at the top and enter your serial number into the box, that will lookup your original order and find the right specs, there should be a download for your BIOS from there
