Via Epia Mini-itx M9000

I got the above mentioned motherboard to use as an experimentation box...

I haven't received the ram for it yet, but should I be able to boot and get something out the vga port?

I have it hooked up to a known good monitor, though when it starts up, the processor fan does spin, but the monitor remains at "No input detected"

Is the the expected action? I would think that it would at least spit out a 'no ram' error message...no?

For anyone who stumbles upon this on google...no, you should not get any output without ram.
