Question Windows Xp motherboard conflict

I have just purchased an ECS motherboard (L7S7A2) and an AMD Duron 1800 processor, but everytime i try to boot the pc keeps restarting just after saying somethin about windows having shutdown the comp because of hardware alterations and it then asks something along the lines of

start windows with safe mode
start windows with network support
start windows normally
start windows with last known configuration

Can someone out there please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So you changed the mobo and cpu of your existing computer? Not a good idea. If you have a real xp cd you can try to repair the installation, else you'll probably have to boot from the cd and reformat. There are too many hardware dependancies and such for windows to work when you change the mobo. Hope you backed everything up.
If you didn't, you can probably still access your files by moving the hard drive to another xp computer, and setting it as "slave".
