can't get a date... to import
I am new to this forum, but it looks like you all know your stuff.
We have an Access database that we have attempted to import into SQL server. Everything comes on over fine except for the date fields--we set them to long and all of that--but they all show up offset by two days (+2 from actual or previous unimported value). Any suggestions? I have posted to several forums but nobody has had any comments. Please help. --the Desperate Fat Kid |

Well, I htought it was the upsize tool. We attempted to change the date field to a larger size, accounting for the 4 byte size in Access.
It has been weird. The timestamp seems to work fine when the data is input, but it then is reflected incorrectly when ever we view the data later. I wish I knew how to better explain it. Hope this helps you help me lol. |
