Hi All
I have installed MS SQL server on our XP Pro machine (Athlon 2000 512mb ram). I 've installed it as I need a the database of a site we are working on (not working on the database, just the HTML and CSS in amongst the ASP.NET code). However, the XP machine has slowed right down with the SQL Server running. It seems to only occur when the screen goes to sleep! ... The system and hard drive is set not to sleep, only the monitor.Any clues? |

no really...I know that Xp does thing during Scrren saver mode...and I think Mcafee also, btw if you have Anti-virus I suggest disabling them or removing the extention of SQL files. I don't know where you can actualy see that...(the thing Xp does) (I think gpedit32) Maybe someone more Technical can answer and please choose something aside Athlon please my begging you.
