Connecting to a JavaDB/Derby Server

Hi,

I am trying to connect a database on JavaDB/Derby Server.

I was able to connect to it using dbvisualizer.

I an trying to find out if I can connect to it using Aquastudio.

Or I would like to see if there is any command line tool I can use to pull data.

Can I write something in PERL to get data from this database ?

Any pointers you can give pls.
