copying data from on machine to another machine
Hello,
Am new to Sql . i need to copy the database from one machine to another machine. Both machines are not on network. Those two are individual machines and having sql server on both machines. I want to upload the data. So can any one help me out with this pls?

If they are not on a network, then the best way to go about it is to backup the database on one machine and copy the backup file to a CD (or a few dozen floppies!
 ). Then, run over to the other computer, insert the CD and restore the database from the backup file.Search your Books Online for "backing up databases", if you have no idea how to backup stuff.
