domain names in database.....

hi..
i havn't had much exposure to php or mysql.
im going to set up a mysql database to store the domains( i think it only needs one table) - but im not too sure what the structure should be. Should I make the necessary information in excel before entering the data? Also once the database is setup how do I comunicate with the webinterface, im using frontpage 2004? would php be the easiest way? The way I have it setup now is each name is in its own cell. Any suggestions on this would help massively.
