DTS Connection to an Exchange Server??
Hello...
I'm trying to figure how how to move some data from a SQL database to a calender entry on an exchange server. I'd like to set up a trigger on a table so that when data hits that table (from another 3rd pty application) a job is run to move some data to exchange. From this microsoft site ( URL ) it appears that a dts package can connect to an exchange server, but I can't seem to find any information on how to create the connection. Anyone do anything like this before? Thanks! |

Don't know exactly, for shure you need an OLEDB provider for Exchange.

dts to exchange
Sorry, I havent worked with setting up an exchange connection within tsql before. I will poke around and see if I can find anything, but it really doesnt ring a bell.
The only thing that comes to mind is setting up your calendar as an operator, and then scheduling a job to update it. |
