ent. manager - but free?

is there anything out there that will let me connect to my webhost's mssql db and alter the tables from a application? i am trying to create a sql editor with php and odbc but haven't achieved much, im hoping there is an open source software that will let me create,alter,drop tables and such?

is there anything?
