Installation Problem
Hi all,
Need some help here...
I've tried to install Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Ed. on Windows 2000 Pro. On the first time, the installation was OK. But then, because of some other thing, I got to uninstall the SQL Server. When I try to re-install it again, the problem happens. It said something about OS incompatibility so that only the client tools could be installed and the db server couldn't. I desperately have re-format my HDD & re-install the OS, then try the installation some more times.. didn't work
I've re-read the installation help, found out that Win2k pro isn't one of the OS requirement for Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise edition. But due to the fact that my first installation was OK, I don't think that's the problem.
I did try to install the same copy to WinXP pro OS.. and the same message (a.k.a problem) pops-up.
Please help, tell me what's the problem could be.. I really need to make it works asap..
Thanks in advance,
Anna
